The wait is coming to an end for fans of USA’s ‘Psych’, as the network has announced the date of the show’s season 5 premiere.

USA’s longest-running original series is scheduled to return on Wednesday, July 21 at 10pm Eastern time.

Psych, a criminal comedy-drama created by Steve Franks, stars James Roday as Shawn Spencer, a crime consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department. Spencer’s strong observational skills and instincts, causes people to believe that he solves cases using psychic abilities.

The show premiered on July 7, 2006, and became the year’s highest rated basic cable premiere.
